LIFTING OF A 650 METER LONG - 6,200 TON HEAVY VIADUCT IN AUSTRIA!

Fagioli has been subcontracted by ICM construction Gmbh for the 5.8m lifting of the 6200 ton, 650m long Steinbrückenbach viaduct on the A10 motorway near Spittal an der Drau (Austria).

Based on its experience, expertise and know-how, Fagioli designed the lifting structures for this incredible project.

The complete lifting was carried out with N°8 portals, one on each pillar head, and N°2 towers, one on each abutment. Each portal consists of N°2 600 tonne strand jacks and each tower consist of N°2 450 ton strand jacks, making a total of 20 strand jacks.
