The Fagioli Group has its own medium-range cranes and proprietary gantry systems to conduct heavy-lift assembly and erection activities in different industrial sectors for the final positioning of turbine-generators sets, boiler sections, transformers, storage tanks....

Fagioli is often called upon to relocate heavy presses as well as installing new ones, especially in the automotive industry. This particular activity is a speciality of the assembly group which utilises in-house hydraulics and electrician specialists as well as packing, shipping and erection dedicated team to disassemble, pack, ship and erect heavy machinery.

As the Client prefers to refer to a single-point reference source, with Fagioli specialised operators in the fields of electrical parts, hydraulic and fluid dynamics activities the whole process is completed: Transport, Lifting, Final Assembly with Connection of Wires and Electrical Parts and then Finally Testing. To perform this kind of Heavy assembly Fagioli utilises a large fleet of gantry cranes and screw jacks.

Our engineers analyse the configuration of the load (weight and dimension) and all the assets and possibility in order to guarantee the safest and quickest way to perform the erection / installation: drawing of the items to be lifted; detailing and description of connection points; support elevations; centre of gravity positions; risk analysis with lifting procedures; comparison between various alternative assembling methods. The studies can be as detailed as required by the Client under safety requisites.

Erection and assembly specialists, closely monitor the combination of the different stages, the erection and assembly schedule through alignment and levelling operations up to and including final testing operations to provide Clients with a complete "turn-key" service.
