To extend our lifting capabilities and to complement our existing range of lifting equipment, Fagioli have invested in heavy duty cranes to cover, with the usual professional and engineered approach, also that segment of lifting activity. The purchase of new last-generation crawler cranes such as the Liebherr LR 1750 and the incredible LR11350 are the answer to client's necessity in terms of hoisting of heavy modules and components.
These new cranes offer excellent lifting capacities in all applications, considering that the LR 11350 is capable of hoisting over 1350 t and can reach a total lifting height of more than 200 mts.
Main application of these cranes are in power stations, refinery and in general in petrochemical activity, offshore industry, civil works and many others.
The main advantage of a crawler crane is that it can move on site and perform several erections being also able to travel fully loaded following the high standard safety requirements given by "wheeled" counterweights and on-board computerized control system.
Moreover using the same method performed also for the strand jacking system and gantry cranes, Fagioli provides dedicated pro-active in-house engineering and technical studies (submitted to Client for review and approval), specialized heavy-lifting superintendent with well-proved experience and dedicated riggers trained to arrange and dismantle the cranes, respecting all the safety requisites.
The lift operations are executed according to Major International Standards and Lifting Method Statements and studies "approved for execution" prepared by Fagioli engineering department which provides an in-depth analysis of the structure to be lifted, rigging arrangements, operational tolerances, 3D and 2D drawing with dimensions, clearances, lifting appurtenances, sling and shackles size and design, radius, counterweights, spreader beams...
